Hi, I'm Prathap
I'm a Product Designer (UI/UX) based in Chennai, India, with more than five years of experience across enterprise applications, AI-powered SaaS platforms, responsive websites, mobile apps and digital branding.
My work sits where business goals meet everyday users. I take complex requirements, often from product managers, AI engineers and stakeholders all at once, and turn them into user flows, information architecture, prototypes and polished interfaces that feel simple to use.
What I'm doing now
At Sage IT I design TalentOS, an AI-powered recruitment platform. I shape recruiter workflows, candidate screening, the AI Profile Summary, the AI Voice Recruiter, assessments, interview evaluation and enterprise dashboards. I also design Sage IT's websites, landing pages and marketing assets.
How I work
- Start with the problem. Requirements, users and constraints before pixels.
- Structure first. Clear flows and information architecture make good UI easy.
- Systems over screens. Reusable components keep products consistent as they grow.
- Prototype early. I use AI-assisted tools to test real interactions fast.
- Ship together. Close collaboration with developers through handoff and QA.
Beyond the day job
Before joining product teams I spent three years freelancing, designing websites, app screens, logos and brand identities for startups and small businesses. I still take on selected freelance projects, so if you have one in mind, I'd love to hear about it.
